The government has apologized for not providing enough security to IEBC officials.

This is after IEBC’s ICT director Chris Msando was brutally murdered.

Speaking at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi, government spokesperson Eric Kiraithe that the state regrets not having provided enough security to the commission’s officials.

“The government apologizes for failing to provide enough security to IEBC, but as from now proper measures have been put in place and they all will be secured,” Kiraithe said.
