The National Parents Association has asked the government to ensure individuals behind the attack on a school in Turkana County and their accomplices are brought to book.
Association's chairman, Nicholas Maiyo, has also called for enhanced security not only in the affected school, but also other learning institutions located near the border.
Speaking in Eldoret on Sunday, Maiyo condemned the Saturday attack at Lokichogio AIC Secondary School that left 6 students and a security guard dead.
He send a messages of condolences to families that their children in the attack and wished the injured a quick recovery.
"The affected school must be deployed to that school and all those in border areas because those involved might stage more revenge attacks," noted Maiyo.
"We are heading towards an examination period and we would wish that the government ensures candidates are safe," he added.
The suspect in the attack identified as Abraham Lojore has already been killed after a mob dragged him out of Kakuma police station and lynched him on Saturday.
