Nyambaria high school Principal Mr. Gerald Orina has urged the ministry of education to help them with teachers as the school has  a shortage of 36 teachers.

Speaking at the school on Sunday during prize giving/book donation day, he said that the school has got the shortage of 36 teachers, he urged the ministry of education under the able leadership of Cabinet Secretary for education Fred Matiang’i to consider them.

“We have a shortage of 36 teachers we wish to appeal to the ministry to consider us so that we can fill those spaces,” said Orina.

The area Member of national assembly Timothy Bosire echoed the principles’ sentiments by urging the ministry to help them to end the challenge.

“As the principal has said the school has got the challenge and we wish the cabinet secretary of education will address this,” said Bosire.

The cabinet Secretary for education Fred Matiang’i who was the chief guest said that the government is planning to employ 10,000 teachers in the next financial year adding that he will consider the school after employment is done.
