The government has closed a church in Ekalakala, Machakos County after it was allegedly associated with suspicious activities.
The Healing Ministries church has this morning being seized from operations by authorities after it was known that women worship in the church naked.
Ekalakala assistant chief, Nzioka Kivati confirming the reports saying that the church is controversial since only women attend the church.
The assistant chief also confirmed the reports that women have been worshiping naked in the church.
Ekalakala Market chair Dancan Mutua has said that they have been suspecting the church and at the time of closing it they found a naked woman inside being prayed for.
He also added that the church had no certificates allowing it to operate in the country.
Either the church pastor in charge Joseph Wambua has denied the claims saying that the assistant chief has been asking for money from him and since that he never agrees to bribe him is the reason of closing his church.
The pastor says that he will move to court to prevent his church from being closed for unknown reasons.
