Bahati constituency member of parliament Onesmus Ngunjiri has condemned CORD and opposition leader Raila Odinga wondering why he defied to appear before the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Kenya (EACC) and provide evidence concerning Eurobond saga.

Kimani said Raila’s allegations cannot be taken lightly, and challenged him to table evidence concerning the alleged theft.

Speaking on Friday when he held a meeting with members of the Dundori Forest Association-Decofa in Dundori, Ngunjiri said that Raila was basically playing politics with the Eurobond issue ahead of 2017 elections.

“The jubilee government is committed to fighting graft. That being the case, anyone who has corruption allegations must table evidence against the same,” he said.

He said both the controller of budget and national treasury CS have categorically stated that the money was well used after being wired into the respective ministries in the government.

Members of Decofa expressed their concern of conserving the forest and promised to work together with Kenya Forest Service to achieve better results.
