President Uhuru Kenyatta has said his administration will ensure needs of students with disabilities are well cratered for.
“The Jubilee government will look into ways of reforming the education sector to cater for the needs of students with disabilities,” he said through his Facebook post on Saturday.
The President said that after he visited Joytown Secondary School for physically challenged students in Thika, Kiambu County.
He was accompanied by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
President Kenyatta also said it is not fair for students who are physically challenged to undertake the same exams with those who don’t suffer from any disabilities.
