Businessman and government critic Jacob Juma has been shot dead.
The 42-year-old was shot dead by unknown people while driving past Lenana School Thursday night, according to the Star.
Nairobi CID boss Ireri Kamwende said the businessman was driving from his bar at around 9.30pm when he was shot by gunmen who escaped on a motorbike. His car had about 10 bullets holes.
Juma has been critical of government and implicating senior government officials in corruption scandals, mainly on social media.
The businessman had claimed that his mining license was revoked after he allegedly declined to pay a bribe demanded by the then Mining Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala.
He also claimed that the Eurobond money was used to bribe ICC judges over cases President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto were facing.
