The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy, CORD, has criticised the government's move to use force in dispersing peaceful protesters who were demanding the removal of IEBC commissioners from office on Monday.
Speaking on phone, Kitutu Masaba MP timothy Bosire, who doubles up as the National Treasurer for the ODM party criticised the Jubilee government for using police to forcefully disperse peaceful demonstrators in Nairobi and Kisumu.
"It is a pity that the Jubilee government can order the police to use force on our people who were demonstrating peacefully in many parts of the country, more so Kisumu, and Nairobi," said Bosire.
Bosire further condemned the IEBC commissioners for not being fair to the political parties who are key players in general elections.
"How can we have IEBC commissioners in office whose credibility is in question since it can be clearly seen to be biased to Jubilee as compared to CORD, and we cannot allow them to be our referee come the next election," added Bosire.
