105 location chiefs in Kisii County have a reason to smile after the national government donated them motorbikes to use in delivering their services to the residents at the grassroots.
The national government through Kisii county commissioner Kula Hache donated the chiefs with motorbikes on Monday at her office in Kisii town.
Speaking during the donation of the motorbikes to location chiefs, Kula Hache urged chiefs to work as per their mandate in delivering good services to the county residents and make sure no more illicit brews in various villages.
Kisii county governor James Ongwae who was present in the event challenged the chiefs to work closely with county officers by cooperating together to make sure residents get good services as it required.
“Cooperation will yield good fruits let us all work together for both county officers and your chiefs to offer good services to our people," said Ongwae.
