The controversial video of popular comedian Eric Omondi where he is pictured unclothed swimming with children, has elicited mixed reactions with Kenya Film Classifications Board, the film industry regulator, Chief Executive Officer Ezekiel Mutua being the latest to add his voice onto the matter.
According to Dr.Mutua, the video is exploitative to the minors even as he warned advertisers against 'touching' it ( the video). He further warned celebrities against molesting children.
" Exploitation of children is a serious crime. These is how these so called celebrities end up molesting children. No advertiser should touch Eric Omondi (sic) unless they are also perverts. The video of him nude with children is a crass," Dr. Mutua posted on his Twitter handle.
Dr. Mutua's comment comes at a time the comedian who has a huge following on social media has found himself on the receiving end with many saying that he had crossed the red line.
Consumer Federation of Kenya ( Cofek) called for the comedian's arrest and further recommended that he should be put under mental test.
