[Nyamira governor John Nyagarama. Photo/Star]Nsicha Technical Training Institute in Borabu Sub County in Nyamira County has received learning equipment worth Sh100 million from the directorate of technical training in collaboration with the National Government Constituency Development Fund.
Yuvinalis Mwocha, the institute’s principal confirmed receiving the equipments.
Mwocha said the machines given to the institution will be used to offer training in electrical and electronics courses.
“The machines we received will help boost giving skills to learners taking electronic and electrical courses,” he said.
He called on more youths from the region and those from other counties to apply to join courses in the institution to pursue various courses.
The principal urged county government led by governor John Nyagarama to support technical institutions for more youths to enroll for courses.
"Due to poverty, many youths have not joined courses but if the county will allocate bursaries to such youths we will have many of them joining the institution," he sa
