Speaking in Kuresoi, Nakuru County on Saturday, DP Ruto said that each of the eleven sub-counties will get Sh 100 million for expansion of technical institutions in a bid to equip the youth with important skills and make them self-reliant.

DP Ruto challenged parents to take their children to school saying that the government has chanelled millions of money for free education.

He said more than 90 per cent of public schools have been connected to electricity supply. He made the remarks when he handed over 741 title deeds to area residents who have been living on the 1, 651 piece of land for over 20 years without the legal documents.

The DP said it was quite embarrassing that Kenyans have been living on their land like squatters for over 50 years since independence.

He urged the residents to avoid misusing the deeds and instead use them but rather for their development.

"It is a sensitive document and use it for proper functions as getting loans to build your financial position." Ruto said.

Ruto said the government was in line with its manifesto given that 2.5 million title deeds out of the 3 million promised during their campaigns have already been issued out to Kenyans.
