The national government has set aside Ksh 300 million to fight the army worms in various parts of the country.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, a multi-institutional technical team of experts has been constituted .
The team is drawn from the public and private sector to guide efforts towards management of the pest.
Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Mwangi Kiunjuri, while opening the Meru ASK Show said the Ministry is facing a major challenge in controlling the worms.
