Deputy Inspector General of Police Joel Kitili has addressed the alleged withdrawal of bodyguards assigned to NASA co-principals Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka.

According to Kitili, he is not aware of the withdrawal.

Speaking on Tuesday, Kitili stated that he had not received any information regarding the withdrawal.

His sentiments come after a source in the opposition revealed that the security detail of the two had handed in their gadgets.

Reports indicate the police officers assigned to Odinga and Musyoka were recalled and told to hand over their police radios so that they could not monitor police communication.

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communication Philip Etale condemned the move revealing the guards have been deployed to North Eastern Kenya.

NASA had announced that they would hold peaceful protests to the IEBC offices at Anniversary Towers in their quest to "remove" officials they claim are to blame for the nullified August 8th presidential election.
