Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, and Urban Development Cabinet Secretary James Macharia announced yesterday that the Kenyan government will in 2018 commence the building of houses for police officers in Nairobi and Kiambu slums.The project is part of the government's ambitious plan to build 500,000 houses for the police officers.In a statement to newsrooms, the Cabinet Secretary said the project would be given top priority because of a shortage.
