The government will on Friday morning unveil and flag off caravans taking new curriculum books to public schools across the country.
The event will bring together all publishers in Kenya and education stakeholders to witness the event which will entail the supply of books directly to schools.
The Kenya Literature Bureau has since revised its books and obtained approval to print 18 million copies for Biology, English, and Chemistry for distribution to schools.
The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) had emphasised the need for parents and teachers to check with the institution before buying textbooks to avoid purchasing those having misleading information.
Education CS Fred Matiang'i had stated that the Ministry will buy textbooks for every public school.
