Housing ministry principal Secretary Aidan Munano has stated that the ministry was allocated adequate funds during this financial year.

According to Munano, the ministry was at the designing stage for the houses that are meant to boost the welfare of officers.

"We will soon release 800 units to the police officers, which will go a long way in motivating them,"said Munano.

She was speaking on Tuesday during a housing conference at a Naivasha hotel.

She added that they were giving priority on areas in regards to the data provided by the National Police Service.
