The National Government has been asked to ensure that they deal firmly with all the groups that are said to be recruiting Kenyan youths to criminal and also terror gangs.
The MP for Muhoroni Onyango K'Oyoo yesterday told the press that any act of terror could be curbed by the security agencies if radicalisation groups and militias were fully eliminated.
K'Oyoo who was speaking to the youths in Muhoroni town urged the youths in his constituency to desist any temptations of being lured into joining such militias.
"Many young youths are being lured into joining criminal and also terror gangs by being offered money. I kindly and strongly urge you to ensure that you avoid such temptations with all due cost and you should report any person who tries to tell or convince you to join terror gangs," K'Oyoo said.
K'Oyoo went ahead and strongly condemned the Thursday Garissa University terror attack where 147 students were killed while others injured.
"I urge the Government to tighten all its security departments and also ensure that all those who are caught face the law accordingly. I also urge you to report any kind of unusual behaviour that you may witness," K'Oyoo said.
The MP went ahead and called upon all the chiefs and local leaders to be on the forefront in ensuring that security is highten in the localities that they are in.
