Speaking on Sunday during the 9th Kass International Marathorn at the Eldoret Sports Club,  Kass Media Group chairman Joshua Chepkwony said that through sports, the youth can be employed and live a comfortable life.

"Since youth unemployment rate has risen in the country, sports is the solution; where through sponsoring and nurturing talent, the youth can earn a living instead of just waiting for white-collar jobs that are scarce," he said.

Chepkwony says if sports can be run and managed well, it would be a great source of employment for a large number of talented young people.

"Sports is really paying well. I urged the youth to venture into sports and take is as a career since many Kenyans are millionaires due to sporting activities," he added.

He urged young people not to stay idle but venture into sports and showcase their talent.

Chepkwony however, urged athletes to shun dopping saying it will kill their careers if they are banned from participating in athletics for life.
