According to him, many Kisii county school dormitories get gutted down by some communities in cooperation with students and he said the government can’t construct such dormitories.

Addressing the press on Tuesday at Magena boys’ high school when he visited the school after the three school dormitories burned down by fire, Onderi said the government will not construct such dormitories.

He alleged that some communities incite students to burn school dormitories when they don’t want a specific head teacher in the institution.

“The stand of the government is that it can’t construct any school dormitory that gets burned, the government has no money to misuse the community should be careful with the institution,” said Onderi.

Onderi said in Kisii county dormitories in 15 schools have been burned in the last two years as the investigation continues to be done in the matter to know the cause of such incidents.
