This partnership will see boreholes, water pans, and the insurance of livestock owned by pastoralists.The main aim is to improve the lives of the pastoral communities.Deputy President William Ruto challenged leaders from the pastoral communities to focus on improving the lives of their people.He spoke during a Pastoralists Parliamentary Group Meeting (PPG) held in Mombasa.''People view pastoralists as people who have denied their children an opportunity to go to school, people who are riddled with poverty or conflict. We need to change this perception,'' the DP said according to the People Daily.
