New Attorney General Paul Kihara has revealed the next move for the government regarding the conviction of Interior CS Fred Matiang'i, Immigration Principal Secretary Gordon Kihalangwa, and National Police ServiceInspector General Joseph Boinnet.
According to Kihara, Justice George Odunga's findings were faulty as the three state officers had not violated court orders.
In a report by Capital FM News, Kihara argued that they were fully committed to protecting and enforcing the rule of law thus would not disobey court orders on purpose.
Odunga had earlier ordered the three officials to appear before him on Thursday.
On Thursday morning, the three failed to appear in court for the second time and Statelawyer Charles Mutinda admitted he had not spoken to his clients.
Matiangi, Kihalangwa, Boinnet were given an hour to appear before him for sentencing.
The court had ordered the three to present Miguna on Thursday but he was deported to Dubai on Wednesday evening.
