Sylvanus Osoro, the South Mugirango MP said that the Governor had allowed lazy contractors to apply for tenders in the county reason most development projects started in 2014 were incomplete.

"Several projects have stalled because the governor entertains rogue contractors. Projects such as the Gusii stadium and the construction of an Avocado factory have stalled because the contractors who won the tenders are lazy," said Mr osoro.

He asked governor Ongwae to ensure that in his second term the process of awarding tenders is free, fair and transparent.

The lawmaker called on all elected leaders in the county to focus on service delivery and shun divisive politics.

"Last year we had enough time to campaign and its time we deliver the promises that we made to the electorates," he said.

The youthful MP also called upon those who ran against him in the August 8, 2017, elections to work with him.

He was speaking on Friday in Kisii town after the High court upheld his win.
