Speaking in Nyamira, the governor said that the measures that have been put in place to ensure swift learning and boosting of education levels in the county are good.

“I am happy because of the outcome of the KCSE results and I want to say that our county performed well. This could not have been so if the people of Nyamira, teachers, parents, students who did the examination, elected leaders and leaders from my government did not come together and work as a team,” said the governor.

Nyagarama also added that for the county to perform better in other development issues, the people needed to come together to achieve the same.

Meanwhile, Gesiaga S.D.A Secondary Principal Sarah Sumo is happy with the performance of the school saying that it broke the record of taking many students to University, compared to previous years.

She added that it was the cooperation of teachers, students and parents that led to the fruits they had borne.
