Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has assured Molo residents that his government is committed to providing security to them and their investments.
Speaking in Moto, Sirikwa ward where he attended the burial of Molo businesswoman Susan Warugi, the governor asked residents to invest more as the county government will provide security for their investments.
He urged the residents to continue with the pace of investment in the town, terming it as critical growth to move the county forward.
" I ask you to invest more in Molo town, we will provide enough security for your investments. We are committed to that," he said.
The county boss used the forum to downplay a recent report by the NCIC suggesting that Nakuru risks violence in 2017 saying the county is a peaceful region.
He was accompanied by area leaders and other top county government officials.
