[Photo/the-star]Homa Bay county governor Cyprian Awiti has sent home seven CeCs who served in his government, during his first term in office.In a new list unveiled on Wednesday, Awiti retained former Finance CeC David Okeyo. However following the new changes, Okeyo will now head the roads docket.The nominees according to the list include: Beatrice Atieno (Education and ICT), Richard Muga (Health), Aguko Juma (Agriculture Livestock,Fisheries and Food Security), Carelus Ademba (Trade) and Dickson Nyawinda (Water, Environment and Natural Resourses),Others are Roseline Anyango (Tourism) and Alfonse Were (Energy and Mining)."We have considered regional balance, gender and those who met the threshold set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution," said the governor as quoted by the Star."We have chosen the best out of the best. We hope they will perform to the peoples' expectations once approved by the county assembly," the county boss added.The list of the new nominees will be sent to the county assembly for approval.
