All women staff in West Pokot County have been ordered to avoid wearing mini skirts and tight trousers.
Governor John Lonyangapuo says some workers have been dressing indecently.
The governor has also directed that all men must wear suits and ties.
“Miniskirts, halter tops and female trousers are not among preferred or acceptable attire. I will not accept (to have) my county officers to wear them,” he said while addressing the county workers, as quoted by sde.co.ke.
He said the move aims at differentiating county workers from ghost workers.
Governor Lonyangapuo warned that workers who fail to adhere to the new rules and regulations would face disciplinary action.
