Kisii county governor James Ongwae was openly booed and denied by a huge gathering at Eberege ,Bomachoge Borabu constituency during mass voter registration mobilization at the areaOn Wednesday, Kisii Governor James Ongwae was booed by residents of Eberege in Bomachoge constituency over alleged poor delivery of services by his administration.
“Today we need our govern who is here to show us where are the roads he promised us and security lights yet it is four years down the line ,” said Edwin Mokaya, a resident.
“It is aboslutely ridiculous that he is busy telling us to register just because of an election," he added.
In a quick rejoinder, Ongwae defended his track record saying that his admnistration will ensure the promises are fulfilled before August.
He also urged area residents to register as voters in numbers to ensure they elect sound mind leaders.
“I have heard your grievances and I promise to fulfill all development projects unders my leadership ,” he said.
