Nandi governor has lamented the increased rate of insecurity in the county.
Governor Stephen Sang was speaking to residents at Chesuwei area where two men allegedly mentally challenged had been killed under unclear circumstances.
“I urge you to remain calm as the relevant security agencies in the county deal with the issue conclusively,” Sang said.
The meeting was attended by various leaders from the region with each of the leaders urging the residents to remain calm and allow the police to do their part.
The governor took the opportunity to remind the residents of his government’s commitment towards the betterment of the lives of the locals.
“Nandi county has been known to be a peaceful county and it is quite unusual for us to be experiencing such killings.We want the police to deal with this issue once and for all, let all the perpetrators be brought to book,” added Sang.
