"Of each one of you, I demand absolute fidelity to the people. You will carry yourselves with dignity and integrity shall characterise the offices you occupy at all times," he told them. The governor cautioned the CeCs against nepotism and any such sectarian considerations in the discharge of their duties. He drew their attention to the fact that people are pregnant with expectation. "The expectation and the hope our people have in me is the same expectation they have in you. Collectively, we have no choice but to deliver on our promise to better their lives," he said, adding that as a government, they cannot afford to let the people down.He reminded the 10 CeCs, Chief of Staff and Investment Secretary that to make a difference in life, they all must move beyond talk and planning to action."The task before us as a government is by no means easy but it's doable. To get there, it will take steady steps and action-oriented fellows."
