Kisii county governor James Ongwae has told Omogusii unity Movement that he can’t join them but to foster development and fulfill his campaigns pledges first before 2017.

Ongwae said a time will come for politics but for now, he can’t join Omogusii unity.

Speaking at Nyacheki, Ongwae called on Omogusii unity movement members to forgive him because he can’t join them and he is interested in development projects in the county.

“I can’t join politics at this time please the movement can proceed but forgive me I can’t do politics at this time leave me, I have to deliver development to county residents,” noted Ongwae.

It is said that some of the Omogusii unity movement members have been calling Ongwae to join the movement but the governor has assured them that he is not ready to join since the movement is political and he wants to do development first in the county.
