Outa said Governor Ranguma must come out and tell residents about the performance, and how funds are being spent.

Outa urged Ranguma to address the issues as fast as possible, failure to which he will call a meeting of all leaders of the county for a way forward.

Speaking in Kisumu on Monday, Outa said the revenue being collected by the county government has also dwindled, adding that an explanation must be given.

Outa added that the locals must know how the money meant for developments has been used, since the county government came in place.

The legislator said the county, being among the crucial CORD counties must deliver services to the people, as they are associated with Cord leader Raila Odinga, who is the pioneer of devolution.

“Raila Odinga is the pioneer of devolution, and it’s shameful that one of the counties associated with him is ranking last. Something must be done,” he added.
