Garissa County Governor Nadhif Jama and his deputy Abdullahi Ahmed are said to be at loggerheads, after Abdullahi requested to welcome Deputy President Ruto in Masalani, a move that didn't go well with the Governor.
It has been confirmed that Nathif has ordered the officers in charge not to issue per diems for the staffs that accompanied the Deputy Governor in the recent Development tour by Ruto.
Sources close to the deputy governor have confirmed that the delegation from the county who joined the DP were denied the county vehicles and were forced to use their private means despite being on an official government business.
Abdullahi is said to have shared the incident with Senator Yussuf Haji and the two are meeting before the end of the week to deliberate on that agenda and thus bring to light the fallout between the two.
