Governor Nathif Jama has pledged to support children of Mama Hani orphanage centre in Waberi ward, Garissa County. The announcement came after the county boss paid a visit to the orphanage during the Eidul Adha holiday that was observed on Monday.
In his visit, Jama gifted the children with food stuffs and assured them that his administration would do all it can to enable the centre live to its expectations.
"My administration will widely support the children residing in this orphanage and also in conjunction with the Garissa Muslims Youth Association," issued Jama.
Earlier in the day, Governor Jama together with his Deputy Abdullahi Hussein and other County officials joined tens of hundreds of Muslim faithfuls in marking the Eid Ul Adha prayers at General Mohamud Idd grounds, where he encourage them to live to the expectations of Muslim doctrines.
