Garissa County Governor Nathif Jama has called the county workers to work efficiently to ensure that residents are served well.

Speaking in his office on Tuesday morning, Jama told the workers working outside the Garissa town to be present at their work places everytime, and avoid visit Garissa town for leisure purposes, which affect service delivery.

"I would like to tell each and every worker from this county who is working outside the Garissa town to be present at his/her work station and to stay there for proper service delivery to the people. For instance, if you are working in Hulugho, stay there and work for the people of Hulugho," Jama said. 

The governor also requested from the workers to ensure that Garissa residents are given all that they need when it comes to service delivery in different sectors like health, education and water.

"I would like to see everyone who is employed in the county government doing his/her work in the best way possible and that the residents are given good service delivery in sectors like health, education and water," he added.

This comes days after some of the Garissa residents, especially those living in outskirts of the Garissa town complained of not receiving any service delivery since those who are supposed to serve them are enjoying life comfortably in Garissa town.
