Makueni Governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana has exuded confidence of retaining his seat after next week’s general elections.

Kibwana says the has delivered 95 per cent of the promises he made to residents in 2103 and qualifies for re-election.

Addressing supporters during a campaign rally in Makueni Town on Wednesday, Kibwana pleaded residents to endorse his second term.

He said that another five year term will enable him to complete development projects his government has initiated.

“I have performed to deserve anther five year term and am urging residents to endorse my candidature for progressive development,” he said.

Kibwana urged residents not to listen to propaganda allegedly being peddled by rivals. He said that competitors eyeing to unseat him have no development agenda for the county.

The governor also urged residents to remain peaceful as they wait to vote on Tuesday next week.
