Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka was Saturday forced to intervene as crowd in a voter sensitization rally shouted down Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana over claims that he did not wind up his Muungano party.
Machakos senator Johnston Muthama and Wiper chairman David Musila have previously called on winding up all small parties so that Ukambani has only one strong party.
However, the party leader has been embracing them and urged them to fold up the parties too. Muthama and Musila were not part of Makueni voter sensitization tour in what was seen as a silent protest over the small parties such as Muungano and CCU among others.
The tour began at Mukuyuni and proceeded on to Wote, Makindu, Emali and Sultan Hamud. Kalonzo also took the opportunity to reinstate that he was the best choice for the opposition who would easily send Jubilee home.
Kibwana accused some leaders of hiring goons to shut him down noting that he must seek permission from the party before dissolution noting it's not a one man's decision.
