Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi has sent a warning to county officials engaging in corrupt dealings.
Speaking on Friday shortly after presiding over the official opening of the Kadaina Dispensary, Kingi challenged investigative agencies to speed up their investigations, to ensure officials engaging in fraudulent dealings are brought to book.
"I want to issue a stern warning and put all my officers on notice for any cases of corruption. Let it be clear that I will not condone any form of corruption in my administration. The County Government of Kilifi will take decisive action against whoever is engaged in cases of corruption," he said.
"My administration will be open in addressing matters of corruption and whoever is found guilty will be prosecuted," he added.
Governor Kingi's forewarning comes just a day after he suspended 10 county officials pending investigation over the loss of Sh45 million in different county departments.
