Kilifi governor Amason Kingi has affirmed his commitment to ensure residents get sufficient water.

He said the Kadzandani-Adu-Kamale water pipeline project has provided water for human and livestock consumption to over 30,000 households in Adu ward and its environs.

He noted the project had alleviated water shortage and relieved the hardship faced by women and children who had to walk for long distances looking for water."The ongoing Kambicha-Marereni water pipeline project in the same ward will see over 25,000 families access clean water for domestic use. This will in turn bring to an end the perennial water problem that has troubled the people of Magarini for over 5 decades," said Kingi, Friday. He addressed residents in Adu ward, and engaged with opinion leaders."I am committed to build on the accomplishments that we have realised in my first term in office and continue developing all corners of Kilifi County," said the ODM governor who is seeking a re-election.
