Koigi took to his Facebook page Sunday to lambast the county's top leadership accusing it of eroding voters confidence by not prioritizing their interests.

"The crisis of leadership that also afflict national government was illustrated in Nakuru county when president Uhuru Kenyatta visited and governor Kinutha Mbugua was booed, heckled and silenced by an audience that seemed both spontaneous and paid," he said.

He also roped in senator James Mungai and Woman Rep Mary Mbugua whom he accused of not articulating the problems of residents in parliament.

"On the same ticket Nakuru voters elected the senate and women rep persons that see, hear and speak no problems in parliament because their only interest in power is to make money and get rich," Koigi said.

He advised residents to carefully examine candidates before voting them in to avoid future disappointments.
