In a statement on his official Face book page after officially opening a Nakuru County Health Workers Workshop in Naivasha town on Friday, Kinyanjui said such moves are hazardous on the side of the locals most of who depend on public health facilities for medication.

Kinyanjui urged medical practitioners to consider their patients and the public at large during trade disputes before resorting to strikes.

According to the county boss, the practitioners should always consider dialogue and other decent protest and conflict resolution modes instead of downing their tools, a method he noted is unhealthy for the residents.

The event was attended by members of the Nakuru County Assembly Heath Committee.

Also in attendance were top hospital administrators and county health minister Dr. Jonah Manjari.

Dr. Manjari echoed the county chief's remarks adding that the workshop will lead to the development of a strategic plan that will further improve the health sector.

Manjari noted that the county leadership has invested a fortune in the sector to boost service delivery.
