Nakuru County Governor Lee Kinyanjui has expressed happiness following the successful growth of Ukulima Sacco Society.
This comes after the Sacco opened its 6th office service activities branch in Nakuru town.
Kinyanjui lauded the Sacco’s management for the efforts they are making to ensure the firm grows.
“Prudent financial management of the Sacco by the officials has brought about the good growth. Other Saccos should learn financial management skills from the Ukulima Sacco to grow,” he said.
According to Kinyanjui the Ukulima Sacco’s asset base has grown to Sh10.6 billion.
He called on residents to join the Sacco and have more shares which will enable them borrow loans.
“Nakuru residents should join the Sacco and ensure they have enough shares for them to get reasonable loans to start small businesses to boost their living standards,” added Kinyanjui.
