Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has sent several county officers on compulsory leave for poor performance of service delivery. In a press statement to media, Mr Kinyanjui sent on leave all 55 ward administrators, 11 sub-county officers and their deputies awaiting their evaluation of skills suitability. Others affected in the orders include County secretary Joseph Motari, Director of Finance Mr. Wilson Mungai, Director of Procurement r. Eliezar Ngarari, Head of enforcement Mr. Joseph Kihara among others. At the same time, Gov. Kinyanjui fired admonished the county public service board over what he said was adverse accusation for malpractices in the recruitment, promotion and sexual exploitation in the institution. He further expressed concern over the decrease in county revenue by over sh. 1.9 Billion in the financial year saying that he will carry radical reforms in the revenue collection and warned the corrupt workers that their days are numbered.
