Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has lauded the government for the ongooing crackdown on perceived dissidents who were involved in the January 30 mock swearing in of Raila Odinga.

"You cannot defile the Constitution and expect the same Constitution to protect you," Kinyanjui said.

He added: "President Kenyatta was validly elected and sworn in. He has all Constitutional powers. Anyone breaking law and endangering the peace of the country should face the full force of the law."

The Jubilee administration has been received codemnation from opposition members after the arrest of MP TJ Kajwang who was charged with treason after he administered Raila's oath.

Miguna Miguna, another opposition stalwart was also arrested on Friday in what is believed to be his role in the now proscribed criminal sect national Resistance Movement.
