Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui on Monday visited Naivasha town after business people lamented over the destruction caused by floods in the area.
There has been an outcry on social media over the county governments 'silence' on the matter as floods continue to wreck havoc.
Business people had also held demonstrations in the town and accused Kinyanjui of neglecting their plight.
While speaking in the town, the county boss said he will dispatch a team to fix drainage in the area.
"We have witnessed what the floods did to you and after this visit am going to summon my technical team who I promise will be back here to sort out these issues after a way forward plan is reached," Kinyanjui said.
