Isiolo assembly on Friday approved the list of nominees for county executive committee positions.

According to the assembly speaker Hussein Halakhe, all the nominees have integrity and knowledge about their respective positions.

"The nominees that were approved by the assembly on Friday evening have abilities, qualifications and experience to foster the development agendas and service delivery to Isiolo residents," Halakhe said.

Halakhe, who chaired the committee said the six nominees represent the face of Isiolo.

The nominees are set to take oath of office on Monday, and leaders led by Burat MCA Yarrow Hassan Wario and nominated MCA Ann Stella lauded Governor Kuti for giving a list of qualified candidates.

Finance and Economic Planning will be headed by Mwenda Thiribi, Mohamed Ali Sime to head Lands, Physical Planning, Works and Urban Development department, Yusuf Daudi Adha for Water, Energy, Environment and Natural Resources,Mohamud Abdullahi Haji to head Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Development docket.

Others Abdinassir Ali will will take over Tourism, Trade, Cooperative and Enterprise Development department and  Josephine Eregai will head the Education, Sports, Youth, Gender and Social Services department.
