Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui attended the pyrethrum stakeholders meeting in Nakuru town.
The meeting brought together representatives of pyretrum growers, processors, researchers, nursery operators and investors, including state agencies including KEPHIS, KARLO and AFA.
"I am committed to reviving this sector which is crucial to the economy of Nakuru County," affirmed the governor on Wednesday.
He noted the business model to adopt, especially in value addition and marketing will be very important to ensure key returns in the sector.
"The Nakuru County Government is working with Egerton University to train more extension workers," said Lee.
