Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has launched a water project in Meibeki Ward, Moiben Sub County.

Mandago said the projects are aimed at ending water problem in three villages within the ward in Uasin Gishu County.

He commissioned the Kapnasu Water Project soon after launching a classroom and dormitory at Kapnasu Secondary school on Friday.

Speaking during the launch, Mandago said the projects had been funded by the County Government of Uasin Gishu.

The water borehole is among first projects starting off Governor Mandago's second term, a stint which targets to, among others connect all households to water pipes.

Area MP Hon Silas Tiren and MCA Hon Josphat Lowoi were among guests who attended the launch of the two projects.

Afterwards, Governor Mandago visited and condoled with the family of the late Elisha Busienei in Bayete.

Busienei passed on last week and will be laid to rest today at his farm in Bayete village.
