Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has warned lazy and corrupt county employees, saying they risk losing their jobs.

"I have credible information that some of my officers are sleeping on their jobs. I won't tolerate them whatsoever. They either reform or be shown the door," he said in Eldoret town,Tuesday.

"Every resident has the right to be served without paying any single cent. Any officer asking for money before service delivery should be reported with immediate effect," he added.

He, however, revealed that he will form an all inclusive government in his last term.

“I will ensure all communities and residents of Eldoret are involved in what we do,” noted Mandago.

He reiterated that he will fire six county executives, a number of chief officers and directors of departments.

“They almost made me lose my job during the election and there is no way I will retain all of them," he added.
