Nakuru County government has pledged to facilitate Njoro Pastors Forum build a prayer centre in Lare for 'their great work in praying' for Deputy President William Ruto and Joshua Sang.
Governor Kinuthia Mbugua Tuesday said the county government is ready to support such noble courses as the forum has been consistent in praying for Ruto and Sang whose cases were dropped by International Criminal Court (ICC).
Mbugua termed the church as an integral part of the county’s administration and through its spiritual guidance; the county government has been able to achieve much in its course of administration.
“It has been through your prayers and support that today we are celebrating the freedom of our people. The church should continue praying for this country and leaders so that Kenya will continue to rise and beat the odds,” said he.
The church in Nakuru County has been an instrument of harmony and peace.
He also said that he will continue working closely with the church on matters that require its guidance and assistance.
